I love/hate how this scene went from the hottest, most BAMF moment ever to the most heartbreaking, gut-wrenching scene in about 3 seconds.
Honestly? I thought it was pathetic and showed how unprepared and unprofessional they were (especially Jack! tho Ianto was also a lemming there). I guess it’s exactly what the writer was trying to show, but it looked so stupid shooting their little guns at the tank, especially with their alleged experience with dangerous aliens. If I could detach my emotions over Ianto’s demise, I would laugh at how pathetic it was, as much as I love their bamf with guns moments.
But they do look ever so sexy, I wish they had at least a little bamf scene together in the first 2 series :/
